mea, et a peccato meo munda>ıııııcleanse me from my sin.

Tibi soli peccavi et malum>ıııııAgainst you only have I sinned, and done evil
coram te feci, ut justificeris in>ıııııin your sight, so that you are justified in your
sermonibus tuis, et vincas cum>ııııısentence and blameless in your judgment.

Ecce enim veritatem dilexisti:>ıııııBehold, you desire truth in the inward being,
incerta et occulta sapientiae>ıııııtherefore teach me wisdom in my secret heart.
tuae manifestasti mihi.

All dynamic, tempo, and articulation marks are the suggestions of the arranger.

This TTBB version represents only a portion of the original nine-voice motet for mixed voices. I have taken the liberty of assigning the rhythmic values to the text in measures 27, 31-32, 40, and 46, all of which were originally notated with a double whole note. Conductors may feel free to generate their own interpretations of these syllabic values.

Rhythmic accuracy, a sustained quality of singing, and the expressive treatment of dissonances will be vital to an enriching performance.
