Justin W. Durham

Dr. Justin W. Durham serves as the Director of Choral Activities at Clemson University where he conducts the Clemson University Singers as well as the Women's Glee Club. He holds the Doctor of Musical Arts degree in Choral Conducting from Louisiana State University. He also holds Bachelor and Master of Music Education degrees from Murray State University in Murray, Kentucky.

 He is active as a clinician, adjudicator, and guest conductor in South Carolina, Kentucky, Illinois, Louisiana, Texas, and Tennessee. Choirs under his direction have been selected to perform at state conventions and have toured throughout the United States, Austria, Hungary, and the Czech Republic, to much acclaim. In addition to being a published musical editor, he has had articles selected for publication in Teaching Music and Music Educators Journal. He is an active member of the National Association for Music Education, the American Choral Directors Association, and the College Music Society. 

For seven years Dr. Durham taught middle- and high-school choirs, A.P. Music Theory, and Music Appreciation in Northern Kentucky where, in 2004, he was honored as the Kentucky Music Educators Association's Teacher of the Year.

 Dr. Durham currently resides in Pendleton, South Carolina with his beautiful wife Leah and their two pets.
